Well it’s been a very busy month! We’ve been shooting a wedding every weekend for the past four weeks and are in last minute preparations for our own wedding in a few days time! As we’ve been so busy, I’ve neglected the blog somewhat, but just have time to share with you the wedding of Vicky and Ricahrd we shot at the end of July. Vicky and Richard are two of the most relaxed people I’ve met. Their wedding in the Sussex countryside definitely matched their personalities as it was such a fun and relaxed affair. After such an awful summer weather wise, it was great to shoot a wedding with pretty much wall to wall sunshine and we managed to get some lovely portraits towards the end of the day just as the sun was setting. Their wedding blessing ceremony took place at the beautiful countryside pub The Ginger Fox just outside Brighton. There was a fancy dress tent, lots of outdoor party games courtesy of the “Wellympics” (Richard’s nickname is Welly) plus a raffle with some fun prizes. Once again, Jo was the second shooter with me for the day and captured some fabulous shots. Here are a few of our favourites from the day.

      Practice makes perfect……

After the speeches were over, all the guests sang a specially worded version of the theme tune from “Friends” It was a complete surprise to Vicky and Richard and as you can see from their expressions, both really enjoyed it!

Before we headed back to the party, Vicky and Richard just had time to practice their first dance routine in the lane!

      Fancy dress anyone?

A pair of “Builderman” pants went to a deserving winner…..

      Richard’s Dad 🙂
