      COMMON FAQS:

      • Do you do many group shots at a wedding?

Yes, I’m happy to do more formal group shots but prefer to keep these to a minimum.

      • Do you charge extra for travel?

If the wedding is within a 50 mile radius of London then travel costs are included in the package price.
If the wedding is located 100 miles or more from London and overnight accommodation is required, an extra charge of £100 is applicable.

      • Can you give me more details about the albums you offer?

I’m currently using FOLIO albums. These are GORGEOUS and really are works of art in their own right. They come in 2 sizes, 10×10″ and 12×12″ and include 30 pages (15 spreads).

      • Do we get to have a say in the album design?

Of course! Your wedding album is a very important and personal record of your special day and so it’s important that it’s perfect. Once you have decided on which images you would like in your album, I will produce an initial design and send a PDF for your approval. This gives you the chance to remove or change any of the images/spreads before it goes to print. Up to 2 revisions are included free in your package, but any more than that are subject to a fee of £49 per change request.

      • Do you edit the pictures afterwards? How much is the colour, brightness, crop, white balance, saturation of photographs altered? Do you provide a mix of colour and black&white versions?

As you can hopefully see from the images on my website, I don’t like to over process an image but try and maintain a natural feel and finish so that in 10-20 years time, they won’t feel dated. I think this is very important. I will sometimes adjust white balance, saturation, and brightness levels to achieve this. All the photos are taken in colour and are converted to black & white separately. Any black &white photos will also have a colour version, which allows you to choose your favourite!

      • What happens if your camera stops working? Is your backup equipment of the same quality?

In the unlikely event of camera failure, I carry back up camera equipment (the same model) and backup professional grade lenses.

      • What happens if you are unable to attend the wedding?

If something happens which means I’m unable to attend the wedding, I will try and find a replacement photographer in a style simialar to mine. I am part of a nationwide network of photographers which gives the best possible chances of finding someone suitable. However, if this is not achievable, I would reimburse in full the total fee paid.

      • Is Mark Osborne Photography insured?

Yes, I have full Public Liability, and Professional Indemnity insurance.
